NETL has issued a RFQ as an unrestricted full and open competition for Security Support Services under General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule 84.  The purpose of this requirement is to provide all contract management oversight, supervision, and quality control over its technically trained personnel to provide routine and emergency protective force services for all DOE Headquarters locations.  The resulting contract will be a performance-based hybrid contract with a blend of Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Call order, and Auxiliary Expenses with No-Fee Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) with a base period of two-years and three- one year option periods for a total of a five-year (5) period of performance if all options are exercised.  It is anticipated that the award date for the resulting contract will be prior to the expiration of the current contract and will have an effective date of March 2021.

 

The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 561612. 

 

All questions related to the RFQ shall be submitted in writing to the Contract Specialist, Amy Stonebraker at amy.stonebraker@netl.doe.gov. The subject line of the email must reference the GSA RFQ ID and NETL Solicitation No. as RFQ1472334/89243320NAU000002.  All questions must be submitted no later than February 2, 2021 at 4:00 pm (Local EST).

 

Amendment 0004, dated 2/19/2021, has been issued for the RFQ.  The RFQ and its amendments are available on GSA eBuy (https://www.ebuy.gsa.gov) and this Reading Room.  The due date for submission of quotations is also extended by Amendment 0004;  Quotations must be submitted electronically through GSA e-Buy on or before 4:00pm (ET) on Thursday, March 4, 2021.
