Project Description

The project will develop and demonstrate advanced nondestructive evaluation inspection tools and technologies for hot gas path components to enable on-going assessment of the remaining lives of components during their use. Predictive models for deposition, corrosion and component life assessment in gas turbines operating on novel fossil fuel gases will be developed.
