These stimulating, hands-on, minds-on STEM activities, demonstrations, and other active learning experiences supplement and enhance schools’ existing STEM curricula, cultivate children’s thinking skills, develop early positive attitudes about STEM topics, and empower children to be STEM learners.
At the upper middle and high school levels, when students further develop their interest in STEM and start thinking about careers, NETL researchers visit the classroom to discuss and demonstrate more complex STEM and energy topics and the multiple, dynamic pathways that can lead to STEM careers
Career Education Events for Schools
NETL participates in career fairs and expos to paint a picture about what the life of scientists, engineers, researchers, and STEM professionals looks like and to share internship opportunities with students.
