NETL’s Regional Workforce Initiative (RWFI) will host the 2022 Regional Advanced Manufacturing and Energy (R-AME) Innovation Group summer meeting virtually 10:30 a.m. to noon, Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022.

Anthony Armaly, RWFI federal coordinator for NETL, will kick off the meeting by sharing R-AME successes and accomplishments over the last two years while providing information on regional funding opportunities.

“The R-AME group has been focused on regional efforts, collaborations and partnerships to catalyze research innovation and commercialization of advanced manufacturing and energy technology,” Armaly said. “To date, we’ve had some significant milestones that I’m excited to continue building upon.”

The webinar will also feature a briefing by Petra Mitchell from Catalyst Connection on a new regional energy supply chain initiative and an update from the founder and CEO of Coalfield Development Corporation on their activities relative to advanced manufacturing. Participants will have the opportunity to brief the group on any efforts or events, or collaborative opportunities during the round robin session at the end of the presentations.
