The following NETL programs will be represented at this meeting either through oral or poster presentations:

Crosscutting Research programs foster and accelerate broadly-applicable technology in the areas of sensors and controls, cybersecurity, modeling and simulation, water management, and high-performance materials.

The Rare Earth Elements (REE) program is focused on the development of separation technologies and process operating systems that will provide an economically competitive and sustainable domestic supply of rare earth elements and minerals from coal and coal by-products to assist in maintaining our Nation’s economic growth and National Security.

The Gasification Systems program advances technologies for modular coal gasification, air separation, and reactor engineering design for affordable and cleaner electricity production and high-value products, such as fuels and chemical, while opening new market opportunities for domestic coal.

The Transformative Power Generation program develops technologies to improve performance and extend the life of existing power plants, and also focuses on next generation modular coal-fired power plants providing stable power generation with operational flexibility and high efficiency.

The Coal Beneficiation program focuses on both enhancing the value of coal as a feedstock and developing new high-value products derived from coal. Research includes testing of laboratory and pilot scale technologies to produce upgraded coal feedstocks and additional revenue producing products. Expanding existing coal property databases assists research efforts and informs potential consumers in domestic and global coal markets.

Registration Refunds Will Not Be Honored After Monday, April 1, 2019.
