Systems Analysis/Technology Integration Projects - Project Data
Co-Production

Early Entrance Coproduction Plant (EECP), Waste Management & Processors, Inc.

This project will resolve critical knowledge and technology gaps on the integration of gasification and downstream processing to coproduce some combination of power, fuels, and chemicals from coal and other carbonaceous feedstocks. The initial activity is the definition and evaluation of component technologies and their integration to form the optimal EECP concept. The technical details of the EECP facility will be further developed and a technical assessment of the component technologies and their integration within the EECP will be conducted. The project team consists of WMPI, NEXANT, ChevronTexaco Corporation, and Sasol Technology.
