Transport Desulfurizer Modeling

Project ID:

FY10.CBS.1610238.671
Objective: The project goal is to simulate an integrated warm gas sulfur sorption and regeneration process.  Pilot and demonstration-scale warm fuel gas desulphurization processes have been developed and tested jointly by RTI-Eastman at Eastman's Tennessee facility.  Modeling is desired to better understand the performance implications of these results, identify predicted sensitivities to process conditions and configurations, and provide suggestions for generalizing the results to similar sulfur sorption processes.
