NETL recently completed its Phase III Mercury Solicitation selecting 12 projects. Seven of the projects are continued full-scale field testing with the objective of either 50-70% Hg control or 90%+ control. The remaining 5 projects are for laboratory and pilot testing of advanced concepts.
