The DOE Technical Information Network for Solid-State Lighting (TINSSL) is designed to increase awareness of SSL technology, performance, and appropriate applications. TINSSL members include representatives from regional energy efficiency organizations and program sponsors, utilities, state and local energy offices, lighting trade groups, and other stakeholders. 

Two TINSSL members, the Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP) and the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE) were competitively selected to support DOE in this effort, and work closely with DOE to produce SSL information and outreach materials, host meetings and events, and support other outreach activities. 

TINSSL members receive regular updates on technical progress of SSL technologies, upcoming meetings and events that address market issues related to SSL, and outreach materials developed for target audiences.

JOIN THE NETWORK
Materials    Members are encouraged to use market studies, technical information, and fact sheets provided by DOE as the basis for educational or outreach materials directed at specific market channel members or end users, and to share these materials with other TINSSL members via this site. Members are also encouraged to provide guidance and feedback to DOE regarding additional technical information needs.
Demonstration Results  DOE SSL Technology Demonstrations showcase high-performance LED products for general illumination in a variety of commercial and residential applications.  Learn more about results from DOE demonstrations, and how to participate.
CALiPER Results DOE supports independent testing of commercially available SSL products, providing reliable, unbiased product performance information to foster the developing market for high efficiency SSL products. TINSSL members are encouraged to recommend candidate products for CALiPER testing. See the latest CALiPER test results.
