SSL Project Presentation Guidelines

The 2006 Solid-State Lighting Workshop will provide a forum for sharing updates on the current DOE-funded SSL projects. These project updates, presented on Day 2 of the workshop, will provide attendees with a snapshot of DOE’s current project portfolio.

All DOE SSL project recipients are requested to prepare and present a brief overview on their project at the workshop, using the workshop template provided. These presentations offer you an opportunity to promote your work, learn more about your colleagues’ work, and build teams. Please keep your presentation brief and do not include any proprietary information. Each presentation should be no longer than 12 minutes (4-7 slides), followed by 2 minutes for Q&A.

The workshop template provides a format for the following required information:

  • Project name and team members

  • Team information (names, locations, project roles)

  • Project objectives

  • Project elements and technology (include photos or graphics, if available)

  • Project progress (include photos or graphics, if available)

The completed presentations (and any immediate questions) should be submitted to Sarah Cornelius (sarah@akoyaonline.com). Please send the completed presentations via email by January 11, 2006. A master presentation will be assembled prior to the workshop (a master CD and paper printouts). Due to time constraints and the number of presentations, we will not be able to modify or add presentations during the workshop.
