Andrew John Sivak—Government

Sivak served in the U.S. Army Europe C Battery, 3rd Battalion, 84th Field Artillery as a specialist 5 Pershing Missile crewman, 1972–1975. He was stationed in Neckarsulm, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. He received the Pershing Missile Bronze Broach for outstanding leadership and dedication to duty. He obtained the Expert Marksman medals for rifle and grenade, the Good Conduct, and National Defense Ribbons. He attended the 7th Army NATO Training war-games at Grafenwoehr, Germany, and cross-trained with the German Army in small arms weapons. Sivak is currently a safety and occupational health specialist for NETL’s ESS&H Division. He began work with NETL 26 years ago after working at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard as an industrial hygienist and as a federal safety and health specialist.
