Student Temporary Employment Program (STEP)
The STEP is a great way for students to be exposed to the National Energy Technology Laboratory. STEP positions are paid positions. It is not necessary for the work to be related to the student’s academic major, which allows the student to gain experience in a variety of fields. Examples of positions we have hired under this program include: Procurement Technicians, Engineering Technicians and Energy Project Assistants. Benefits to students include earning annual and sick leave.
